Waldjugendspiele 2019

On Wednesday 15th May all four second-year classes travelled up to the Rosalia forest for this year’s Jugendwaldspiele. Despite the rather cold weather (it was freeeeezing!), the pupils did their best to answer all the questions and complete the tasks set by the forestry commissioners and hunters. All sorts of skills and knowledge were required, from speed and dexterity to identifying animals by the sounds they make.
When all the stages had been completed there was a very welcome snack of sausages and bread rolls. On the way back up to the top of the hill some of us even managed to thaw out a little bit…
