Shrove Tuesday

This year’s Shrove Tuesday once again saw groups of pupils doing all sorts of different activities. 23 pupils went with Mr Bischof, Miss Eder and Mr King to “Bigwall Bouldering”, just across from the school. After squeezing into climbing shoes that felt like they were six sizes too small, we made our way into the hall, where we received some basic training before being let loose on the boulder routes. Several of the pupils have a lot of experience with climbing and bouldering and they made everything look deceptively easy… I can assure you, however, that it is much harder than it looks!
