St Patrick’s Day at the BJHS

Am 17. März 2026, stand die Bilingual Junior High School ganz im Zeichen des St. Patrick’s Day. Alle Schüler:innen und Lehrer:innen waren eingeladen, in passender grüner Kleidung in die Schule zu kommen, und dieser Einladung wurde mit viel Freude gefolgt. Sogar unser Direktor erschien im grünen Anzug. Schon früh am Morgen gab es ein echtes Highlight: Herr Pirringer, unser Musiklehrer, begrüßte die Schüler:innen mit seiner „Bagpipes“. Diese außergewöhnliche musikalische Einstimmung sorgte gleich zu Beginn für Begeisterung und gute Laune. Es war wieder richtig lässig! Die Kids der 2e organisierten mit Hilfe der Lehrer:innen Lisa Lubena, Zoe Dettenhofer und Grit Wolfram in der großen Pause ein St.-Patrick’s-Day-Buffet. Der Reinerlös des Verkaufs wird an die Mary Ward School in Nepal gespendet und unterstützt dort wichtige Bildungsprojekte. Coole Aktion!

On March 17, 2026, the Bilingual Junior High School was all about St. Patrick’s Day. All students and teachers were invited to come to school dressed in appropriate green attire and they gladly embraced the invitation. Even our principal showed up in a green suit. Early in the morning, there was a real highlight: Mr. Pirringer, our music teacher, welcomed the students with his bagpipes. This unusual musical introduction immediately created excitement and a great atmosphere. It was really awesome! The students of class 2e organized a St. Patrick’s Day buffet during the long break with the help of teachers Lisa Lubena, Zoe Dettenhofer, and Grit Wolfram. The net proceeds from the sales will be donated to the Mary Ward School in Nepal, supporting important educational projects there. A really cool initiative!
