Celebrating the preparation for Christmas 2019

It’s beginning to smell a lot like Christmas at the Bilingual Junior High School, Wiener Neustadt. That crisp, cold scent of coming snow in the air combined with the delicious scent of baked Christmas biscuits has put our school in a festive mood.
Wednesday 13th November was a hive of activity for both our pupils and their parents as they rolled up their sleeves and baked, sewed and packed gifts. It was a ‘Hands on Bake & Decoration Day’, as help came in abundance with all those tricky tidily bits that needed a few extra fingers.
The school will be selling these wonderful Christmas treats on both 22nd November – Open House Day, and the 27th of November – Parent/Teachers Evening.  All proceeds will be used by the school for extra curricular activities and purchases needed.
All this hard work and generosity, with time given and shared, epitomises the spirit of joy shared by every single person in our school. The school’s Director, Mr Martin Glanzner stated, “Our core value is to try to teach our pupils that we don’t give because of what we’ll get in return. If we give time and energy, and expect nothing in return, then we experience the very purest form of giving”. A welcome kindness, and the true spirit of Christmas!
