1d’s GREAT DAYS OUT – Day 2

After a (more or less 😉) restful night we enjoyed a hearty breakfast and prepared our packed lunches – everyone what they liked.

At ten am we left for the silver mine. After a 30 minutes walk – a very steep one – we arrived. Once there, our guide explained a lot about different rocks and mining in general and we took an exciting tour through the old silver mine.

In the afternoon we had time to explore the surroundings of the youth hostel and went to Mauser Mühlthaler’s organic farm.

After a delicious dinner – including ice cream as a dessert – our last activity of the day was a torch-lit hike.
