Thursday afternoon was spent playing skittles in the back room of a local pub. There were four teams of six players and with a little practice everyone was doing pretty well, with quite a few strikes occurring. As the game wore on the excitement increased, especially as in the second qualifying round the final score was 359 each! This then had to be decided in a quick tie-break. Everyone was a winner, though and all the pupils went home happy.
The teachers were very impressed by the level of support given to members of opposing teams, despite the fierce competition. It’s great to see a class that can look after each other so well.
