4d in Edinburgh – Wednesday

Wednesday’s full-day excursion was to Sterling, complete with a climb up the Wallace Monument’s 246 steps. Sounds like a lot, but with 22 pupils that’s only 11.18 steps each… There was plenty more to do here though, as you can see from the photos.
This was followed by a visit to Loch Katrine in the Trossachs National Park and a stop on the way back to Edinburgh to see the Kelpies, 60m high horse head sculptures made of stainless-steel.
