3d Out and About

On 24th June 3d and 3e took the train to Mark Piesting and walked up to the Waldbad. We had a wonderful time and for the first hour had the whole place to ourselves. After a relaxing few hours we made our way back to the train station in the scorching sun.
On Tuesday 15th June we took the train up to Pernitz-Muggendorf and then walked up to the Myra Waterfalls. Despite the intense heat, the walk was comfortable, as Miss Schönthaler showed us a shady path through the forest to Muggendorf. Once we were in the gorge itself it was pleasantly cool and the walk back was made more pleasant by a strong breeze that kept the worst of the heat at bay. It was another pleasant morning out in the fresh air.
