4d and 4e in Malta

From 16th to 23rd November 4d and 4e are on their language week in Malta. On landing we were greeted by warm, sunny weather, which unfortunately didn’t last into our activity day on Sunday. In the morning 4d were cycling along quiet (but very bumpy) Maltese roads, while 4e were rock-climbing. Both of these activities proved to be quite challenging for those who had not done much of it before…

The plan was then for the groups to swap, but nature intervened with some very wet Mediterranean rain, making both the rocks and the roads too slippery for us to continue. We instead took a trip to Mdina, the old capital of Malta. This ancient walled city is highly impressive and very picturesque, with some stunning views.
